CARRIE ELDRIDGE

Hi there! I'm Carrie Eldridge, an artist, fabricator and designer based in the Oklahoma City metro area. In addition to completing a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Central Oklahoma, I dabble in a lot of areas including artisan crafts, industrial arts, sculpture, textile design, printmaking, costume design and upholstery. I am also a singer and professional dancer, performing with the Heather Burns dance collective Azuquita Cubana. I grew up in Norman Oklahoma, and spent most of my time in music and arts classes in high school, and at the Firehouse Arts Center.

Now in my early 40’s, I am redefining who I am as a person, and as an artist. Having spent most of my working career in fields that weren’t quite suited for me, I am looking to collaborate with fellow creatives in my area and beyond. I have worked with and volunteered for several local arts organizations including Factory Obscura, ARTSPACE at Untitled, and MAINSITE/Norman Arts Council.
